Madeline is 6 months!!

I CAN-NOT believe that our little Maddie is 6 months already!! Seriously... where does the time go??!! Maddie is a rock-star sleeper, sleeping 11 hours thru the night from the time she was 4 months! She is, however, quite the peanut given the fact that she doesn't partake in those middle of the night feedings :) At her 6 month appointment she weighted in at a whopping 12.2 pounds. She is 10th percentile for head, height and weight, so she is very proportionate.

Maddie is an absolute ANGEL!! Her smile lights up the room and she is just pure "magic" as her Daddy calls her. She is starting to practice sitting on her own. She can manage for a few seconds and then she topples down. I imagine that by 7 months she will be pretty darn close.

She is teething like CRAZY! Her two little bottom teeth will likely make an appearance in the next month too :) As for solid food, she has not been wild about anything yet. She down right hates pureed food, so we have switched right to very soft and small finger foods. She is warming up to them and likes when we praise her for eating them. So far, she enjoys Gerber puffs, small bits of Mission Hills chicken fingers, salmon, and a tiny bit of chocolate chip cookie (so the 3rd child... the other two would have never gotten that at this age!)

She is a strong little peanut who loves to play on her stomach and is starting to scoot around by pushing herself with her toes! Before we know it, she will be right in the mix with her sisters :)
