Earlier in December, Adam and I took the girls on a lovely (an abnormally warm) day to the zoo. This was no ordinary visit to the zoo, however, but a very special one, as a little birdie told us that a certain someone was rumored to be there. When we got to the zoo we went straight to the Polar Bear, because he is our favorite attraction and always puts on such a wonderful show. Then, sure enough... sitting not too far behind him was jolly Old St. Nick himself!
While a little bit timid, Ellie and Olivia had a great time and did very well sitting on Santa's lap. When asked what she wanted, Ellie very quietly whispered "ummm, Dora stuff." Olivia, cannot speak yet, but I am sure that Santa knows what she wants this year ... he has a way of knowing things like that!
Both girls have been so wonderful and aside from a few tantrums here and there have definitely made it to the top of Santa's nice list! But make sure and check back in about 4 days and then we will be able to have some "official" confirmation of that! ;)
