Maddie is 7 Months Today!

Although Maddie looks like she is a maybe 4 months, she did indeed turn 7 MONTHS today!! I just cannot believe it! She is a tiny peanut, but believe me, she is strong! In the last two weeks leading up to her 7th month, she has begun to crawl! Well, it is more of a "scoot" really, but she certainly is mobile... there is not much that she cannot eventually make her way to :)

She is working on her sitting and is getting stronger everyday. She can sit up for about a minute, at which point she usually either slumps forward into a position that would impress most yoga masters or simply falls over to the side in a pretty ungraceful fashion.

She is beginning to eat more solid foods, which is great! She did decide to skip right over purees, however, and go right for the good stuff. She enjoys puffs, tiny bits of chicken fingers, scrambled eggs, blueberries, and pretty much anything that is soft/gummable and not pureed.

Maddie doesn't have any teeth yet, although her bottom two are not far off and she is teething ALL the time!

She is still a great sleeper, sleeping all the way thru the night, although her naps are becoming shorter... but who can blame her? There is a whole world to explore! Maddie is just as cute as they come and she has got the sweetest personality to match it! Below is just a little bit of what she has been up to these days...

This is one of Maddie's new, favorite spots! She like to scoot over to the air vent, and then begin to hide and play in the curtains :)

Ellie and Olivia decided to throw Maddie a 7 month birthday party (more pics below) and this was her chosen birthday boa.

Maddie got puffs and a fake plastic bottle of milk. 

She didn't seem to mind the menu though!
