You are an absolutely perfect baby! You sleep quiet as a mouse all day long, waking only to eat and for diapers changes, and you are wide eyed and awake right around 8:00pm, right after your big sisters have gone down for the night. Daddy and I get lots of one on one time and snuggles with you during this peaceful time of the day and we just love it!
You eat about every 3-4 hours and have a good appetite. After your 10pm feeding, you sleep until anywhere between 2am and 3am and then will wake again around 6am. This is doable!! Our day pretty much starts at 6am anyway and it certainly helps that you are such a breeze to put back down at night... no rocking or "shushing," you simply drift back to sleep.
You have the biggest, widest, blue eyes and they are open more and more everyday. You love to lock eyes with us, and although it is considered an early milestone, you have already smiled at us numerous times since 3.5 weeks! In fact your first smile was gifted to your big sister, Ellie, who is SO in love with you! I cannot wait to see that beautiful smile more and more over the next few weeks.
Your sisters are completely smitten with you!! Ellie will lay with you on the couch and twirl your dark hair in her fingers until you gently drift to sleep. Olivia is head over heels as well and loves to lean in to your swing to give you snuggles and lots of kisses. She likes to say, "hi, baby!" and lovingly calls you "Maddie Moops."
As you grow every single day and we become more and more in love with you every day!
