Denno Family Blog: Olivia's 1st Birthday Party!!

Our sweet little Olivia turned one today (*sigh*). It literally seems like yesterday that I went into labor at the Pembroke Hill Clothesline sale with my little munchkin and I cannot believe how fast this year flew by!

Olivia, at the ripe age of one, you are packed with personality and spunk! You love to dance, you love to eat, you love your Olivia chair and you certainly let it be known when you do not like something!

You just started walking about 2 weeks ago and you are getting very good at it these days! It is a whole new world that has opened up to you, and you seem to have grown up almost overnight.

At age 1, there are some things that you do (little things) that will always come to mind...

• you love your little animals (in particular the monkey and lion). You love to gather them all by the tail (as many as you can) and stuff them all into one hand.

• Your hand-eye-coordination (in my opinion) is pretty great! You love to play your xylophone with the little stick and do a pretty darn good job at it too!

• You love to imitate what you see, as most babies do. However, I in particular, love to watch you try to brush your hair (the little amount that you have). You run it across your hair, banging the brush on your head in the process. You are so proud to be doing what you see mommy doing!
